Aurora
Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and sometimes stylized with lowercase letters, such as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through the record label Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise from music bloggers and the press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band, was released for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of her most well-known recordings. She gained some further recognition via a blog post from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her song Runaway. Celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memory is of finding a piano hidden in the attic of her home, then becoming enthralled by the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to pursue music for the sake of personal development, and not as a way of earning a living or an interest. In order to do so she wrote her first new compositions. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Bjork as being her influences. Her mother encouraged her to perform her music in front of the public, but not in order to gain fame but rather to let others know the importance of their work and what they can do for humanity. She started playing piano when she was only six and began writing music at the age of nine. The family did not know about this until she reached the age of fourteen. Aurora's accomplishments were never the goal of her. The only thing she loves is writing songs. She believes music can make people feel more relaxed.
