Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo who is from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was created at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, who was an actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of her earliest memories of existence, such as attending rehearsals and watching of plays. Silk was a small girl in commercials. She graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles during the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met during an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. They got married in December 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. They renewed their vows on April 10th 2011 at Fredericton at a Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk got a baby that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on May 13, 2016. Silk's work on television includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk became pregnant during production of the season three finale, and revealed this to viewers on the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to work. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E! named them the Top TV Couple in 2013.
